Pressure-/vacuum gate valve ZFB+PAM

In addition to the properties of our ZFB flat slide valves, the pressure and vacuum gate valve ZFB+PAM is equipped with our unique and inflatable “Press-Airmatic®” seal developed by us.

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

The PAM-seal replaces the standard seal in the product passageway of the slide gate valve. When the gate is closed, it inflates automatically. The slide gate and the PAM seal are pressed together and provide a gas-tight seal.

SPECIAL FEATURE

Due to the special shape of the sealing grooves, the PAM can seal tightly even with media remaining on the slide gate.

During the closing movement, the slide gate and the „Press-Airmatic®“-seal are not yet in contact, so that no wear occurs caused by friction.

APPLICATION AREA

These flat slide valves are often used at process related pressure differences where bulk materials are to be discharged in a metered manner.

In a sluice, two ZFB+PAM flat slide valves are installed one behind the other- separated by a pipe section with a previously defined volume. The pressure differences that occur during alternate opening can be compensated by adding or discharging a gas medium.
